Recruitment Consultants face a dangerous time with the law

Avoiding age discrimination can be achieved simply, with recruitment consultant training on competencies.

If you understand what value your candidates bring to your clients, you can sell candidates effectively and age becomes unimportant!

 How?

All this can be done with one stroke, by asking candidates a series of evidenced based questions that relate to previous performance and determine whether someone has successfully previously dealt with the tasks required for the role.

Consultants using the STAR model elicit more information from candidates than through normal CV interrogation which then allows them to promote candidates through their successes and achievements. This in turn avoids age sex or race becoming an issue and helps consultants understand if someone can actually perform the role to a suitable standard.

Anyone not answering the questions as required will be easy to count out of the process with legitimate reasons rather than consultant's interpretation.
